When you first use ToothScience toothpaste, you might notice a few differences.

It may taste a little different—that’s because we use natural peppermint and spearmint oils instead of artificial flavors.

You’ll also see that our pastes are clear rather than colorful. That’s because we don’t use artificial dyes or titanium dioxide, the ingredient typically added to make toothpaste bright white.

And if you’re using our Daily Care or Kids Care toothpaste, you might notice less foam than you’re used to. That’s because we leave out sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). These sulfates create foam in toothpaste—just like they do in shampoos—but they’re not necessary!
